Fear Looms as Funke Akindele Condition Worsen Inside Police Cell, Report emerges (Must See)

Following the report of Nollywood Actress, Funke Akindele,  arrest over 
birthday house party held to celebrate her 43 years old  spouse, she could possibly spend up to 1 month behind bars for contravening Lockdown rules it has been confirmed.

According to The Lagos Infection Disease Regulations (2020), the Regulation prescribes a one month sentence or N100,000 fine or both for anybody caught contravening Lockdown rules.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Nollywood star, Funke Akindele after she hosted a house party despite strict lockdown rules.


The Nollywood star organized a birthday party to celebrate her husband, JJC Skillz who turned 43.

Nigerian Top musician, Naira Marley was also in attendance but has not been arrested.

According to the Punch, she was arrested for contravening Lockdown rules.

The Lagos State Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana has confirmed that the veteran actress has been taken to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba.

He said: "Yes, we have (arrested) Funke Akindele and we are looking for the others. She has been taken to SCID.”

Thousands of Twitter users called for the arrest on Twitter. The party had about 20 people in attendance and as confirmed by Bala Elkana, Naira Marley is also being sort after.

In addition to being arrested, she has also been stripped of the Ambassadorial duties of the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

She has appeared in several adverts for NCDC but will no longer represent them.

She later apologized over the incident, saying most of those who attended the party were colleagues, who were living temporarily within the estate and could not return to their home states because of the lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The expected jail term for such offense is a month or N100,000 fine or both for persons found guilty of contravening Lockdown orders.
