*LEWIS WIKINA BOWS OUT*

The aim to scout for Boys and Advance Christ kingdom can no longer be overemphasized as it has been our day to day activities as officers of the Boys Brigade.

This also played out today Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the St Luke's Anglican Church Omoku, (7th Onelga Company) as they celebrated their second enrollment service  which featured declaration of Chaplain, Captain's installation, officers declaration, enrollment of Boys/NCO's and induction of patrons.


The enrollment service was conducted by the State Secretary-Organizer Mr. Chukwudi Ebim Capt. ANTO, and assisted by Mr Adolphus Furo the State Training Officer 1 and Adi-Wobeh Evans the Administrative Assistant to the SSO.


The high point of the ceremony was the formal handover of office of Captain of the 7th Onelga Company by Mr Lewis Okey Wikina to Mr Courage Ugbanason.

Mr Lewis Wikina who is currently the Chairman, Ahoada Anglican BB fellowship Captain's Forum is the Pioneer Captain and founder of the Boys Brigade in the 7th Onelga Company.
He is a National Training Officer of the Boys Brigade Nigeria and also a very brilliant officer of the Rivers State Council.




When accosted after the enrollment Service, he thanked God for the success recorded so far from the inception of the company till date and hoped for a better system through the help of God and commitment from the Boys and Officers.

The State Secretary-Organizer charged Lewis Wikina to be the driving force  behind the success of the company as part of his quota  to aid the much expected fruitful reign of his newly installed Captain.

Mr Courage Ugbanason, Lewis Wikina's successor with tongues of good report appreciated Lewis for the giant strides initiated in his reign as Captain and promised to carry them on with great speed.



The 7th Onelga Company unveiled an Entrepreneurship/skill acquisition centre where Boys and Officers can be trained to carter for themselves in the future.

The day was wrapped up with good refreshment as Omoku is known for her hospitable nature.
