Nigerian Army Bans Soldiers from Posting Videos and Photos On Social Media

Nigerians will no longer have the benefits of seeing how their gallant soldiers are faring in the battle field in the fight against Boko Haram and, especially their welfare.

The authorities of the Nigerian Army has banned its officers and soldiers on duty from posting videos and photos on social media.

The announcement was made yesterday.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 1 Division Mechanized Army, Major-General Adeniyi Oyebade, gave the warning on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen. Tuikur Buratai, while speaking at the graduation ceremony of Men of Nigerian Battalion (NIBBAT) 46 which was held at the Nigerian Army Peace Keeping Centre (NAPKC), Jaji in Kaduna state.

This isn't so good as we won't know how they are faring anymore especially with the poor treatment they get .
