LITTLE GIRL MARRIES HER DAD AFTER GETTING THE BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY ANYONE COULD ASK FOR

Five year old Lila May Schow, has suffered with stage four neuroblastoma for three years.



With her body too weak to accept chemotherapy, she no longer receives the treatment and doctors predict she will die before Thanksgiving.


With her fifth birthday being her last, her parents Heidi and Ryan decided to throw her the ultimate party. Using Facebook, they enlisted an army of volunteers, businesses and donations from their hometown of Hood River, Oregon.

This birthday is extra special, becouse parents know that she couldnt celebrate another one


The end result was a birthday party, a prom and a wedding all rolled into one as Lila’s parents wanted her to experience all the things she would miss. Nothing was paid for, everything being donated by several hundred very kind people.

A huge fan of Disney, Lila was dressed as a princess.

For the wedding, she was proposed to by her father who then walked her down the aisle, “married her” and had a father daughter dance.

Her father told local news, “We wouldn’t have gotten this far and been able to fight this hard without all the help we’ve been given. We’re so very grateful for that. It’s all about making a little girl smile.”


The little girl's heroic story motivated her entire community to come together over the summer to make her birthday dreams come true. News of the town's generosity and the dream princess-themed bash made headlines around the world, bringing attention to a story that has been going on for three years.

"My heart is shattered into a million pieces," Lila's mom, Heidi Hall, posted on the Facebook page dedicated to her daughter. "There is no pain on earth that is worse than this. The world will never be the same without her beautiful face here with us."
