WWE: The DEADMAN on route to retirement due to injuries.

With WrestleMania 33 fast approaching, more and more talk will be regarding The Undertaker and what WWE have planned for him this time around.

The Deadman hasn't been seen since 'Mania 32, where he was victorious over Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match, and if recent photos of him are to go by, he's not in the best health heading into the new year.

WrestleMania is just under six months away, so there is still plenty of time, but with WWE keen on big buildups going into the grandest stage of them all, they will want plans falling into place rather sharpish.

With the Royal Rumble pay-per-view the official kick-start to WrestleMania season just over a couple of months away, WWE will want to start laying the foundations for feuds and also have initial plans in place.

With the early talk suggesting that Undertaker could face John Cena at WrestleMania, they will not be happy seeing the latest photos of the superstar.

A couple of photos emerged earlier in the week of The Phenom standing with the assistance of crutches. Now, of course, this could just be a slight injury he's suffered in recent weeks, but it could also be a deeper issue.

With each passing 'Mania, Undertaker has looked less and less fit, and more and more like his actual age, leading to speculation that his next one could be his last.

Two pictures were posted up on Twitter, with one of them showing Undertaker posing with a fan with the assistance of crutches, whilst another one shows him with his crutches in his car.

As mentioned before, this could be just a short-term injury for the veteran, but they will certainly be images that concern WWE officials.
