Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, on Friday met with Pres. Buhari to alert him of the danger in the decision of INEC to recognise Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim as the governorship candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming election in the state.
He told State House correspondents that he was not only surprised but shocked about the development. Mimiko said he knew the people of the state very well, saying they would fight the injustice meted to them.
The governor said the magnitude of the violence currently being witnessed in the state could have been more if not for his timely intervention.
