Independence Day tragedy: 16 perish as commercial bus plunges into river in Ogun

The said fully loaded commercial bus plunged into Iju River along Owode-Idiroko Road in Ado-Odo Ota LGA of Ogun State, yesterday.
The bus was said to have taken off from Sango and was heading towards Atan-Idiroko when the driver lost control and the bus plunged into the river about 10.45 am. 16 of the occupants died while four others suffered injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.
