It has been reported that The Rivers State Ploytechnic is in a state of unrest and and students are fleeing the Campus.

It all started during a a campus election yesterday when the election officers deviated from the due process and a student objected. This particular student ended up in the brutal hands of the Chief Security officer and other mean students who did not favour his opinion. He was beaten to a state of coma and rushed  to the hospital.

Other students in the campus needed to know his whereabouts, whether he was dead or alive but the CSO was adamant to grant their request so he ended up receiving the beating of his life. Eye witnesses said the student went ahead to protest and vandalize school properties including the C.S.O's office and ICT centre.
